Mount Vernon Triangle Pet Costume Contest – Saturday, October 29 at 1:00 p.m

On Saturday, October 29, 2011, MVTCID will host its Mount Vernon Triangle Pet Costume Contest to showcase all of the fashionista pets in the neighborhood and celebrate Halloween. Prizes will be awarded for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place for best dressed pet, and a special prize for – Fashion Pioneer – will also be awarded. Judging will be performed by the staff of 5^th Street Ace Hardware, which is also sponsoring the event. This is the second annual pet costume contest held by MVTCID. Because of the anticipated number of dogs and owners, the contest has been moved to Triangle Park – at 3^rd and Massachusetts Avenue, NW.
