Just wanted to post that we're still looking for a few teams to take part in our charity event which takes place in the neighborhood.
The Charity Pong-A-Thon is a fun local event with all proceeds going directly to the National Capital Chapter of the MS Society. We have raised over $45,000 in the past six years and this year's event will take place this Saturday at RFD (registration begins at 3 PM with the first games at 4 PM). Teams must have at least one female and there are cash prizes as well as championship belts for the winners.
There are also drink specials provided by RFD with a portion of the proceeds also going to the MS Society and a raffle with sports tickets, memoribilia, gift certificates, etc. So register a team if you're interested or stop by to take part in the drink specials and raffle.
