The Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District is organizing an event entitled Taste of Mount Vernon Triangle on Saturday, August 21st from 2:00-5:00 pm. Ticketed participants will taste specialty dishes from eight different eateries around the neighborhood. We are looking for volunteers to check participants' tickets, direct people in and between restaurants, and be available for general questions. Volunteers will need to come to the event from 1:30-5:00 pm. All volunteers will get a free tasting of all of the restaurants as well as become more familiar with the neighborhood.
