Donating Coats

Does anyone know where I can donate used winter coats? I'm moving at the end of July and I am cleaning out my closet.

I know it's not really the coat-drive season...

If you have a car I go to the Goodwill at Arlington Blvd (Rt50) and Glebe in Arlington. Its a short drive, they are very efficient, and simply hand you a blank receipt to fill in later.

the Fringe Festival is hosting a Free Store, which will be located next to the Vince Gray campaign office, on 6th across NY Ave. they accept clothes (clean, in decent condition), books and music. You donate stuff, you can take stuff away, all free.
