This month's meeting was very well attended and had many interesting presentations and discussions, as well as our annual officer election. Check out the notes for the full story. Highlights include the welcome news that the O Street Market got HUD financing, DCRA is working with Liberty Market to get them into compliance with required licenses, and the city never notified anyone that 5th and I was going to be a temporary parking lot.

Great notes JP. But I though Evans was referring to the National Park Service, not DPR in his comments:
"DPR is impossible to work with. Sometimes when we have a good director its easier. Now we have someone we don’t know. We need a better plan in case the heavy snows return next year. We need a localized plan."
DPR crews actually seem to have done a great job clearing the snow on and around District's Parks and Rec Centers "this year", under the direct supervision of our former Director Hartsock who was being responsive to concerns many neighbors and Mr Evans conveyed to her office.

You're right, it was national park service that Evans was referring to.
