My company is developing the 451-453 Ridge St lot. We look to complete the project in March/April and will sell 2 2br/2ba condominiums, both about 1050 square feet, with outdoor space, and parking. Can someone tell me what the purpose of what looks like a free standing cement wall on the East side of the building. It has collapsed once and looks like it probably will collapse again.

I am guessing it is a required fire wall since both it and the small house next door are woodframe. I agree that it looks rather precarious with only one row of cinderblocks. Maybe there are plans to fill in the gap and provide additional support as the condos are completed? An answer from the builder would be appreciated.

the new wall seemed to have been built properly with rebar.
