I bought a tree from OCG and their site mentions that they have sign-up for pickup on Dec 30th and January 4th. I cant for the life of me figure out how to sing up for this.. I called their number but it says they are closed January through February. Anyone know how to sign up?
Alternatively, anyone know if DC recycles trees?

From DC's DPW: "Holiday trees and wreaths will be picked up curbside from January 2 to January 16. Remove all decorations and place the greenery in the treebox space in front of your home between Friday, January 1, and Sunday, January 10. Please do not put the trees in plastic or cloth bags."

When I bought my tree at OCG, I could sign up for a $15 tree pick-up -- I think that's what the website means. I declined and the guy who rang me up said that if I wish for the tree to be recycled, just throw it over the fence before Jan 15. Seems odd...
