they're selling grade A fancy amaryllis plants at Safeway for like $8.00 that would similarly cost you $25. at a florist.
and i believe i saw the people from our council members office taking advantage of the $.49 a pound frozen manor house turkey sale. there's a two per person limit so they're going back multiple times.

i saw those amaryllis, they look gorgeous & healthy. there were also some very nice yellow orchids...but they werent inexpensive.

the orchids plants at wholefoods are inexpensive. great for the holidays or every day
