I saw that article as well. I'm sorry, they're breaking the law.
Period.
It doesn't matter if it's in a run-down area of the city or a area that is going through re-development - they are still breaking the law. I'm sure none of these activists live in the neighborhood and have to put up with the neighborhood residents (old and new) have to deal with.
How many of them are cleaning up the used condoms from their alley?

were any elected officals invited or did they attend? i find it odd that we discuss this situation on another thread which was obviously read by some lurkers who attended. cant blame Lt Parsons for not going...we all know it's a vice issue. there is wisdom in this(our) community why were we ignored or not invited?
