Weve got just over a month left until the September 9th Council Primary and there are some dates to keep in mind:
August 11th - As ANC 2C02 Commissioner Chapple reminds us, the Voter Registration Deadline for the Sept. 9th Primary is August 11. Check his post or BOEE for details on this & the ANC election deadlines. Remember if you are Independent, you cannot vote in the primary, its partisan! So if you wish to change your registration (to democrat) in order to participate in this election, you have until August 11th.
Thursday August 7th, 7-8:30pm - Ward 2 Debate, Phillips Collection, 21st & R Streets NW. Come on out to see challenger Cary Silverman face off against 17 year incumbent Jack Evans! This event is hosted by the Dupont Circle ANC & DCCA. Questions may be submitted to the debate blog. This debate will be moderated by Davis Kennedy of the Current newspapers
Friday August 8, 12-1pm - Ward 2 Radio Debate on The Kojo Nnamdi Show, WAMU 88.5. Cary Silverman & Jack Evans will debate again on the Politics Hour. If you miss it, you can listen to the archived version on the website starting at about 2pm.
