havent run a machine through inspection in awhile and saw online at DC.gov where you can make an appointment. so, i made one for tomorrow and let you know how it goes. the appointment window is 15 minutes from 8 15 to 8 30 AM. we'll see if they're ontime and i'll report back.

good news. i arrived at 8 am and home by 10 am, having the machine inspected, register with new title, tags and residential parking stickers. the DMV at 95 M St SW has a generous parking lot with ample space in the waiting room. the processing system is fast. the employees are all nice and not nasty racists like in the olden days.
