The Congressman Returneth

"He's commanding us to 'VACUATE', my people!  Where shall we go?"

Congressman Leo Pines, Jr., is back on the prowl.  Three weeks ago, he smashed my neighbor's first floor window.  An active arrest warrant is floating around right now.

Very, very early this morning, he rang my bell.  "Yes?" I asked into te intercom.

"Can you come down here, I need to speak to you about something."

A combination of sleepy headedness and the appearance of an official man via the camera convinced me to stumble down many flights of steps to my front door.  As soon as I arrived at the front door, I said to myself, "Oh God!!!"

"Hi, I'm Congressman Leo Pines, Jr., and I need to know who told you people to build houses here!!!"

"What!?  You're crazy."

"I have the official and final court document right here.  I need to know who told you people to move up in here. I own this property."

I asked the congressman to wait for me.  I dialed 911 to report it via my land line... the operator was slow in getting the information and could not get the address down properly.  I thought having a land line would make it easier for 911 to identify your location!?!?!?!  I was told that "the next available unit would respond" I then hung up and called my neighbor who has had run-ins with this self proclaimed congressman.

During the second telephone call, the congressman left and walked away and down 5th Street NW towards New York Avenue.

I updated 911 with the new location and the clothing description.  The 911 operator was also not able to get the address correctly.  N Street became Irving Street, and so on.  

Are the employees at the 911 call center all chatting on AIM or updating their MySpace?  They all seem so distracted.  Do they show indie films at the Unified Communication Center?  Have distracting pastry carts going by at all hours?  Something is a little wrong over there!

I can maybe understand getting one bad operator, but two in a row is crazy!

I later found out that Congressman Leo Pines, Jr., had also just returned from another neighbor's house and demanded her keys and garage clicker.

This day, he was wearing a medium taupe trenchcoat carrying a blue folder with handwritten (false) court documents with a notary seal.  The court documents are just like before "NOTICE TO VACUATE" only this time, he's found a notary!

MPO Barnes has arrested this man before as he harassed and caused a scene at a neighbor's office.  He's bound to return some time soon to tell us all to "VACUATE"!
