ANC 2C Updated Election Results

When are the responsible parties going to remove the Re-elect Doris Brooks and Barbara Curtis signs .. They are still up on Ridge Street and M Street.

An undervote, I believe, is when a ballot is cast however no vote for that particular contest is made or recorded. So the voter may have voted for the President on the ballot, but did not vote for the ANC position.

after the last ANC election a couple months ago it was about 6 months until those signs finally came down. And like the last election, they are illegally affixed with duct tape. I believe DPW is responsible for enforcement but to my knowledge they have taken no action despite the signs being reported.

Si, where did you get the results? I've been checking the BOEE website, and they're not up there.

And are they certified? I'm not actually sure what "certified" means for elections--can you explain?

Board of Elections and Ethics announces that the Board meeting scheduled for November 12, 2008 will be rescheduled for Monday, November 24, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. The purpose of the meeting will be to certify the results of the November 4, 2008 Presidential General Election and to discuss other matters. download the latest results in a PDF or excel file, the link is near the top of that page martin provided. The page tallies the absentee & provisional ballots and privdes a date & time of the latest update to the results. the file gives the results with all of the undervotes. they are still all uncertified.

Thanks, Martin & Si. The heading is a little misleading: it still says "Election Night Unofficial Results" even though underneath it says it actually is showing "Results last Updated: Tuesday, November 18, 2008 3:50:17 PM".
