Sara B. just told me that Busboys and Poets is open right now, 10am, for breakfast... In case anyone else has been confused about their hours. I've been told twice by their staff that they open at 11am and they have a sign on their door that implies the same but I guess they were mistaken.

Learned yesterday that Busboys _officially_ opens at 11am but often open earlier. They were open at about 10am yesterday (Saturday) and are open at 10am today, for example. You can call them at 789-2227 to find out whether they're opening early that day.

thank you for asking about our hours - we've been open about 2 weeks and we are in the process of adjusting our hours - we will eventually be open at 9am for brunch on sat and sunday and holidays - we will also be open for breakfast on weekdays - starting at 7am

11:00 am is too late to open for breakfast or brunch on weekends (there are errands to be run during the day) and people need to know *before* the actual day in order to make plans with others to meet. Until the hours are consistent (and earlier), we'll plan to go elsewhere.

I guess if the crowd you are aiming for isn't getting in until the wee hours of the morning from the clubs, then 11:00 am (or even 10:00 am) is when they would be crawling out of bed for breakfast. But for those of use a tad bit older than that, we've already been up for several hours by then.
