E-Recycling

For those of you that don't have the time, or don't want to waste gas going to Carter Barron, Zip Car will be sponsoring a collection at the Whole Foods on P street, on April 21st, from 9am-3pm. See below for more info...from the zipcar newsletter!

Earth Day E-Cycling (April 21): We know that some people's definition of "old technology" differs from others. But when your local Blockbuster has to keep telling you that new releases don't come on laserdisc, then that's a glaring sign that it's time to let go. And what better time to do it than at our annual Earth Day E-Cycling event on Saturday, April 21st from 9am to 3pm at
Whole Foods P Street
and
Whole Foods Tenley Town
.

We'll be filling up Zipcar pickups with any old technology you need to offload, like VCRs, DVD players, computers and cell phones. All of these items contain mercury, lead and other bad things that need to be properly disposed of.
Learn more here.
(Note: we're only collecting electronics -- no washer/dryer combos please!)
Email Anthony
with any questions.
