On Thursday, December 7, 2006, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Mayor Elect Adrian Fenty will hold a Transition Town Hall Meeting at the Kennedy Recreation Center, 1401 7th Street, NW.  This is a great opportunity for Shaw residents to raise their priorities for improvements in government services and infrastructure directly to our city's next chief executive.

Come prepared to talk about the issues that are important to you, your household, and your neighbors.  Whether you want to see dog parks in the neighborhood, more police on foot, more financial support for affordable housing, more green space, better street lighting, cleaner streets, vocational education programs, improved library services, easier property tax appeals, improvements at DCRA, job training and placement, etc., this is an opportunity to put your ideas and issues on record.
